Mathis Brothers Complaint - Product in the ASIS room
TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- I visited Mathis Brothers a while back and found a beautiful king headboard in the ASIS room, decided to purchase it with the understanding that it had to be picked up within 48 hrs. Put a deposit on the piece, went home and found away to pick up the headboard within in the stated time. Was very excited going to the store, but when I arrived the piece had been damaged and could not be fixed where it would not be noticed. The warehouse hands kept trying to tell me that it was like that already. I finally had to go inside and find the salesman that sold me the piece. He even told them that we had checked the headboard over completely and had not found any damage so it had to be done after going to the warehouse. My salesman and I had to go to the manager dept. to finally get it taken care of. Spending over an hour that I shouldn't have had to do. So I say to you if buying from their ASIS room you want to take pictures of all sides of the piece before you leave. If not be sure to know that the fight will be on to get your money back. If I hadn't had a salesman that stood up for me I would have been out the cost of the piece and had nothing but a broken piece I couldn't use.
