Americas Vacation Center Complaint - Don't bet your life on a call back

Review by hc+5 on 2010-04-12
FLORIDA -- Hi, I have been looking into a cruise with Lori of Americas Vacation Center for a while so this cruise I called her up and wished I hadn't. After I sent my $3000 down payment on mine and my family cruise I didn't receive a conformation so after a week I called and she didn't answer so I left a message. I waited a few days and started wondering what happen to my 3000 dollars so I called Royal Caribbean to see if we even had any rooms. They said we did and told me our room numbers and our booking numbers. Stuff I felt should have came from my travel person. Well I encountered another issue she had booked my daughter and family in a room that my grand-babies age 4 and 2would be in the pullmen beds that come out of the ceiling. When I tried to calling her she didn't answer she just changed the reservation which increase our cruise by 250 dollars with out letting us know. When I told her I was changing to someone else doing my booking she sent me very rude emails and was just plain unprofessional. So heads up. On a good note Americas Vacation Center did help me transfer my booking.
