Phillips Electronics Compliment - So-so product, SUPERB customer service!!!

I am really surprised and shocked to see so many negative comments about the customer service that I have found above average and in some cases, nothing short of amazing! My portable DVD player malfunctioned a few times, and each and every time I was sent a brand new one, no questions asked. Even a few months after the original warranty expired I had a problem with one of the replacements and I still received a new unit and the technician even covered the shipping costs. I never realized so many people had problems with Philips I just thought they were a good company in general but after reading some of these posts, I wonder what went wrong with them, or did you guys speak to the right people. I hope you guys get your issues resolved because I am appalled at some of these allegations.

Its too bad that the product didn't always hold up, but it is AWESOME that you received such great customer service and replacements. Great review!
