McDonald's Corporation Complaint - Burger Guilt
MUSKEGON, MICHIGAN -- Actually half complaint, half informative... but complaints get attention. I purchased a Big n' Tasty meal today w/cheese on the burger. The burger did not have cheese on it so I took it back to counter. They threw the burger away and made me a new one. I would have been happy with them giving me a slice of cheese... but to throw a perfectly good burger away? I wish I had just eaten the stupid cheese-less burger. I'm sure the one I ate tasted ok, but with my conscious bothering me, I didn't notice. I don't mean to single McDonald's out (other fastfood companies do the same), but why can't food that has been left under the heat lamps for the time limit, etc... be given to shelters and/or those who would appreciate it? Especially in larger cities where there are 5 maybe 10 of your restaurants... think about what is being wasted. I understand about all the liability BS... but come on Micky D where there's a will, there's a way. If your corporation blazed the trail, the others would follow.
