OC Burgers Complaint - Somewhere between just okay and fail

WATAUGA, TEXAS -- I had heard a lot of great things about this place so my wife and I decided to try it out.

I am not a big fan of the cafeteria style ordering, but it is what it is. The tip jar at the cash register is just a no-no in my book. For what? Taking my order?

The table although it appeared clean was not, I got sticky pancake syrup on my clothes from the table. I kept looking around for someone to ask to clean it, but I finally gave up and cleaned it myself.

When I got my meal the eggs were not cooked the way I had ordered them. This wasn't a case of a little off, it was like they did not read my order at all. They did not come back to check, I had to take it back up to the counter and the girl seemed dismayed that I had a problem.

After the poor service I realized why they were trying to get the tips up front before your experience.

I realize I may appear demanding to some people, but when the company later uses my money, it spends at a 100% of its value, it doesn't spend 86% one time or 75% a different time. I expect what I paid for. You want a tip? You better work for it.

Everyone wants a tip now-a-days. There are even tip jars at McDonalds!
