Samsung Refrigerators Complaint - Computerized refrigerators

Review by Hersi on 2010-04-13
I purchased my Samsung refigerator in Dec. of 2004. I love it except every time we have a power failure or electrical storm it costs me $175.00 to repair it. It blows something on the mother board that controls the freezer temperature and the temp. just keeps going up and down it won't lock on to -20 and stay there. I just replaced it before Christmas and we just had a small blackout the other day and now I have to replace it again. I wanted to put a surge protector on the fridge but the repairman said it wasn't a good idea. Thanks for listening.

Of course the repairman doesn't want you to put a surge protector on your fridge! You're making his mortgage payment for him! Get in touch with a certified electrician and get a second opinion.

Wow, I'd put a good Surge Protector on it anyway, just to see if it helps. Maybe even a Battery backup :)

Call Samsung and see if it would be acceptable to go through a surge protector :)
