Chesrown KIA Complaint - lying and incapable of quality work

Review by rn on 2004-11-15
NEWARK, OHIO -- I have spent close to $1,000 on repairs at Chesrown KIA in Newark Ohio and have been told by them my 1998 KIA Sportage 4X4 is fixed. And it never was. This happened over a 3 month period of them constantly ordering the wrong parts and not knowing what they are doing. We took it to them for a check enging and hold light being on. The one time they stated it was fixed the power locks, radio, and power windows didn't work but it did when we took it to them. During there repairs they used up an entire tank of gas and of course did not fill it back up. Also, again they said it was fixed we paid the bill brought it home to find out the four wheel drive doesn't work. It was just repaired by a different shop and worked fine before Chesrown KIA touched. KIA Consumer Affairs was no help in solving the problem. My husband has order a part through them 3 different times and they still haven't got it right yet. After they messed up the first time he took there Service Tech and showed them what he wanted and they stilled messed it up.

BEWARE OF CHESROWN KIA IN NEWARK OHIO DO LET THEM DO ANY SERVICE ON YOUR VEHICLE OR BUY ONE FROM THEM. NOT EVEN A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE OR PART ORDER.

If you have every dealt with them I offer my sympathy and don't be afraid to contact KIA Consumer Affairs at 1-800-333-4542 and listen to the prompts. Hope you have better luck than I did.
