Southwest Airlines Compliment - So far...so Good - Customer Service
I am currently in process of my first experience with Southwest..and must say so far so good. I booked 5 tickets for vacation online.. and yes I even read the fine print explaining that if I cancelled..there is no refund.. but the credit is there to use for one year. Two weeks later I find I booked the wrong week. I feared this change worse than tax day. Even though I booked online, I phoned customer service. She explained since I had booked online, I must change online, she explained they did not have rescheduling fees.. I would only have a fee if the seats in the week I wanted were more.. Fair enough. Turns out they were cheaper so I got the credit for the variance of each ticket. I was online making the confirmed changes less than 5 minutes.. the most painless 5 minutes I have ever experienced. The flight is not for 5 weeks.. so far I am very pleased. We will see what flight day brings.
