Gemb/Amazon Complaint - Bad, Bad, Bad - Credit Card Service
The GEMB/AMAZON credit card has THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever encountered !!! Back in February 2010 I called to explain that I needed to have my payment date changed and my first problem I encountered is trying to talk to someone who understood me (I speak excellent English). It is very apparent they have outsourced the customer service to India. They told me that they are UNABLE to make payment due date changes. Now, I have been late for two months and EVERY DAY I have some GE robocaller leaving harassing messages on my phone. I WISH TO GOWD THAT I NEVER APPLIED FOR THIS, and will be so glad when it is paid off. I love shopping on Amazon.com, however, SHAME ON THEM for picking such a bad bank. Warning!!! GE does not provide a grace period. If your payment is received one day late then you receive a whopping late fee added to your account.
This company is costing Amazon more than they are worth. Make no mistake though, GE is a subcontractor to Amazon.
