RK Chev. Lynhaven Pkwy Complaint - Overcharging for Repair

Review by Jeshika on 2010-04-15
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- I should have known better than to go to a dealership to have my battery changed, however, I was afraid that I might need the code that only they could provide.. $88 bucks for a 5yr battery okay not too bad..And then $39.00 something for the labor!! Seriously?! to insert a battery-even if you are cleaning it out etc.. that is way too much.. Thanks for the rip off. Oh yes and this took about and hour and half.... lol.

Completely miss my car shop(Hi-tech Auto).. I did not need the radio code either..

Not sure what kind of car you have, but I will gladly pay $39 for a battery replacement on either my Oldsmobile or Pontiac. It would cost me that much in my cuss jar if I tried to do it, as they are buried under other components in the engine compartment.

Advance and Auto Zone will install your battery for no extra charge.
