Idearc/Superpages.com Complaint - Truth - Online Advertising

Review by michig7 on 2010-04-17
Ok. I used to work for this company as well. Everything the girl said was true. I was at Idearc and I was making good money. But man, I dreaded coming to work the next day because my job was to get money from advertisers that couldn't afford it. It was terrible. My conscience got the better of me when I sold a $500 bundle to a 22 yr old girl who wanted to start a cleaning service in the northeast. I felt completely scummy. So I quit. It has got so bad that there are now restrictions on sales, what you can't do. But my sales manager always said keep doing what you are doing...I'll take care of it. And he did. But at what cost? Sure I got paid. But did my client? More often than not, not. Selling to a 22 year old girl who just wanted to start a cleaning company was the straw the broke my back. I had to quit. So glad I did. Idearc is a joke. A scam. Run. Fast and far if your hear them coming.

Let the buyer beware. A conscience and advertising are not a good match.
