HoleshotzPerformance Complaint - Holeshotz Performance thieves

Review by catwalker on 2010-04-17
PLANTSVILLE,, CONNECTICUT -- On April 4,2009 I placed an order for a X19 HP-R Super Bike from Holeshotz Performance (AKA MiniMoto) Which I payed $649.00 for. The owner of Holeshotz said it would be delivered within the week. It has been over a year and still I have not received my order or a refund of my money. Between the many calls and emails that I have placed to (I will just call him J.) I was always assured that the bike was on its way or my refund was on its way. None of it was ever true. Those assurances only came when I could actually get him to answer my calls or my messages. I found out that the owner of Holeshotz knew the X19 Super Bike was not going to be available for sale 'before' I placed my order with them. It was the owner himself that published this information on the holeshotz performance website. Yet he still excepted my money then, and now refuses to return it. I have been contacted by people from the website that inform me this has become a way of doing business for Holeshotz Performance now. They except orders and payments for products, then do not deliver said products. The people that contacted me also said I should just forget about ever having my money returned, since J. has never done that as of yet for anyone. I worked all year to save this money just to purchase this super bike for my 16Th birthday. And this man just out right refuses to return my money to me. My mother and I live on a $674. a month income. This was a purchase I could never expect my Mom to make for me. I wouldn't ever expect it. So I worked every spare second I could to help my Mom and to save for this bike. My Mother has contacted the Attorney General and several other places in hopes of getting help. I just hope this letter prevents other people from making the mistake I did. Do not get involved with Holeshotz Performance or MiniMoto. It is a scam. They are nothing more than thieves waiting to take peoples hard earned money. Don't be a victim to this place like I was. It is not over yet. Unfortunately my other option is to press criminal charges against the owner. And start a class action lawsuit. I know there are several others that have had their money stolen from this place. We don't want to ruin the mans life but he sure didn't care much about what he did to mine.
