Direct Vision Pre-paid Visa Card Complaint - Don't buy into pre-paid visa

Review by Taurusmom on 2010-04-17
I bought my car insurance at a local office and was offerred a pre-paid Visa card by Direct vision. The card was free, and I loaded the card with $30.00. I was given a number to call to set up the account. What they never told me was that it cost $1.00 per week just to HAVE the little card in my wallet. I called the number and was not able to set up a pin number. I basically spent thirty dollars for nothing. Don't buy into Direct Vision pre-paid Visa cards. Unless you got money to burn. You will be sorry, the money you load onto the card won't be there when you need it.

I just looked at their website. Only a fool would accept one of those after seeing all the fees attached to it. I assume you did not know it at the time. They almost make overdraft fees appear to be an economical option.
