Wal-Mart Complaint - Wal-Mart
BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS -- Wal-Mart always states how they roll back prices. I would like to know where. It is not in the area in which I live. If my wife and I want to be able to get decent prices on food, clothes, and other items we have to drive 9 to 16 miles from our home just to be able to do so.
It is hard for people who have a limited income to buy several items from this store. It is also bad that generic prices are higher than name brands of food, coffee, etc.
If Wal-Mart is rolling back prices how is it other stores are cheaper of some or most of the same items. If this store is so family orientated they would keep prices lower. When this store was first opened people could afford it and things were made in the United States. Since Sam Walton the founder of Wal-Mart has passed it seems to me and others that the family members of the Walton family care more about money for themselves than the customers of their store.
If Wal-Mart is so family orientated they need to prove it by keeping prices lower on all of their inventory everyday, not just say so but, do so. People shouldn't have several miles just to try and get a deal. It is hard for people who live from pay check to pay check to make it. Especially one's on Social Security/disability or people that have been fired or lost their jobs to afford the they need daily to make it. People have to eat, do laundry, bathe, etc.
Let Wal-Mart prove they are as family orientated as they advertise. I have not seen in this area or State that they are.
As far as the store in my area goes there are several of the employees that seem to have an attitude problem. They do not ask if you need help if you need help with something you need to go looking for an employee to help you. Most Wal-Mart store employees will ask you if you need assistance if you are having problems finding things. Not here it depends on your name, how much money you have etc. This is not a way to run a store but yet that is the way it is done here. It is a shame that Wal-Mart lets them get by with it. There are a couple of employees that follow you around as if you are going to steal from the store. They make it look like they are doing some work but, the moment you leave they leave. I personally have seen an employee on more than one occasion steal something from one department put it in their pocket and go back to their work station like nothing had happened. Most of the employees at this store will ignore you as much as possible if they feel you aren't as good as they are. There are times you can go to one department and be looking at an item and the person from that department will not even ask if you need help, they completely ignore you unless you talk to them first. This situation needs to be corrected. They are there to serve customers not just for the pay check.
