Value City Furniture Complaint - All around bad experience with Value City
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- I bought furniture from Value City on 03/20/10 and it's April 17th and I still don't have all the things I bought.
Upon ordering my furniture on 3/20/10 we schedule a delivery date of 4/10/10 which I was not very happy about but I figured if I really like the furniture I could wait 20 days to get it. but 10 days before the delivery date they called and said my end tables were on back order then the following day they called again and said my lamps, coffee table and TV stand wouldn't be delivered until 4/17/10 but I would get my sofas on 4/10. well, at 3pm on April 10 I call to find out if they were still coming. The representative tells me that I didn't have anything schedule for April 10th delivery. After a long a frustrating conversation with the store manager he promises me that I would get everything on the 17th. Well today is the 17th and the driver shows up with half of my sectional, still missing all the tables and lamps, and apparently the headboard of the bed was crushed so they had to re-order me a new one. So right now I have one table end, a half of a sectional and mirror and dressing table. I have my mattress on the floor because I was expecting my bed to get delivered today and gave away the old one to a friend. I call the store and the new delivery date is April 24th and May 8th for the rest of my stuff. I can't say that I would never go there again. But I know I will discourage everyone that wants to go there and it will be a very very very long time before I ever step my foot in that store again.
