Citibank N A Complaint - CitiBank SUCKS!!!!! - Longstanding Credit Card Account
I have just gotten off the phone with customer service, and can not believe they actually call it that. I checked my mail this afternoon, and found a letter from Citi telling me my credit card account will be closed. I have been a customer for several years, in fact, this is the first credit card I got when I started college. I have never made a late payment on this card, and I have good credit and a high credit score. I printed off the free copy of my credit report and called to speak to someone to find out what caused them to pull my credit line. I was told I would have to talk to the credit reporting agency, however, the letter states "Other than providing information the reporting agency played no part in our decision and is unable to supply the specific reasons why we have denied you credit." I was also told that "NO ONE" at the bank could review my account or do anything to keep it open. What? NO ONE? Seriously? What a poor excuse for a customer service line and for a company! I hope Washington brings all kinds of HELL down on them through this financial reform!!!!! They should be put out of buisness!!!
