Benson Honda San Antonio Compliment - Struts repair/further analysis
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- I've been dealing with Randy over at Benson Honda in San Antonio. He has been a great representative since day one. I went in because my 2005 Honda Civi SI started making a popping noise when I would turn either way. I thought it was the alignment, so I asked for an alignment and fluid change. Took car back, but noise still there. I called Randy, he asked that I bring it in and they would check it, they did a FREE tire rotation, torqued everything drove it and said come pick it up. Still over the weekend it started with the noise again, once again called Randy, took it back and after a tear down they found that one of my struts needed replacement. Luckily I'm a fanatic about having full coverage/extended warranties, etc., so my policy covered it. They did the replacement, put me in a rental and my car was ready in 2 days. I took it once again. This time there was no popping noise on turns, but started hearing a crashing noise when I pulled into driveways of shopping strips or my own driveway. This noise was louder and seemed like something was breaking underneath my car. I called Randy, he once again, said no problem bring it in and we will see what is going on. I'm getting ready to do that. My whole point is that Randy has provided me with great customer service. He has yet to show any frustration towards me, especially me being a woman!! that is great to know that someone is actually taking the time to get to the root of the problem. I told him I want to buy new wheels for my car, but need to make sure my front end is in all proper order before I proceed. He understands perfectly and is going to try and see if I can get into a rental, etc., while they thoroughly check my care. Sometimes it can take time and patience for the right problem to be found. Yes they are considered experts, but so are doctors and we all as humans make mistakes and can't locate the problem immediately.
Thank you Randy, I applaud you for all of your efforts in getting back on the road with my "zoom, zoom", you know how much I love her!!
