I've had some terrible experience with another Blockbuster in my area (Read my other review about Blockbuster) But the Blockbuster store in South Pasadena (across the street from the Jamba Juice) reminds me how there are still some very kind people in the world.
The South Pasadena Blockbuster store deserves praise for the respect and kindness I have been given at their store. Need them to call another location to see if a movie is there? They'll do that.
Need to order a movie? They'll order it for you.
I hope Blockbuster reads my review and honors them.

Awesome. I recently signed up for a BB card after going to movie night with a friend and being told last minute that I was the one who needed to bring the movie. I normally just download movies so I had to stop off at BB and get a movie. The guy signing me up was so upset that the computer was slow that he apologized every 30 seconds, then ended up giving me the movie to rent for free. I was more then happy to wait for the slow computer and didn't need a free movie but I guess being a nice, understanding customer has it's perks. Point being, BB is cool with me.

I wish they all could be good. I was accused of keeping two videos I returned WELL BEFORE they were even due back, an employee ended up screaming at me and hanging up. I never raised my voice, I was polite, but I was insistant that I wouldn't keep two films that didn't belong to me and asked him to look at my spotless record. When he hung up on me, I reported him to corporate and haven't heard a thing from them. I haven't rented from them in four months. I'm glad your experience was good, but good luck ever hearing back from them.

Ytrop, the picture is not clear when you download from Internet. When copied from direct dvd the picture and sound are clear.

I've had torrent downloads make excellent DVDs so I guess it depends.
