Sears Complaint - The technical didn't show up twice
Our landlord ordered a technician service from Sears in Toronto, Canada, to repair our fridge and dishwasher.
The first appointment was scheduled on Friday (April 16, 2010). We got a call form Sear a day before and they told us that a technician will be there on Friday between 12 pm - 4pm. I worked from home on Friday in order to get the repairs done, but the technician didn't show up. Our landlord, after inquiring, was told that the appointment wasn't booked properly and scheduled a second appointment on Wednesday (April 21, 2010). This is a pathetic excuse for Sear's own unprofessional attitude and poor customer service; one wonders why would they call us a day before with a specific scheduled time when the appointment wasn't booked properly.
The same story the second time. We got a call a day before telling us that the technician will come between 2-6 pm the next day. No one showed up and when we called the customer care they just told us that they were unable to reach the technician and left him a message to call us. As expected, the technician or the Sears never called us to even tell why they were not able to make the appointment twice.
This company should be taken to court for wasting people's time.
