Dish Network Complaint - Neglect old loyal customer
LITTLETON, COLORADO -- Dish network bombards us with the Ads and fliers offering good deals.
When my son signed a 2 year contract with Dish, he was offered Cinemax channel at PENNY a year if he selected to receive statement by e mail. I had been with Dish for over 2 years then, but Dish did not offered such a deal. So I called Dish people and complained to them that they were neglecting their old customers. So a woman said if I signed up for e mail statement(instead of PAPER statement), I too can get Cinemax @ a PENNY a year, so I did. Sep 2009 bill was $79.36, Oct-09 was $ 70.92, November 09-$72.77, Dec-09-$79.29, Jan 2010-$79.29, Feb2010-$86.75, Mar2010-$98.34, April-2010-$97.90!!!!! I called Dish today(4/23). Joe(ID# jue)told me I was told by Dish a penny a year Cinemax was not offered at that time, therefore, they started to charge me for it @$ 12.99 starting February 2010. Dish denied the fact Dish VERBALLY offered me a penny a year for Cinemax ....so I must be dreaming ?? or fabricating a story ??? I told them today to cancel Cinemax then. But April price structure is still $ 27.00 higher than last summer price. Dish does not understand it, so they can not explain to the customer. BE AWARE of Dish as they keep CREEPING UP charges a little by little,. They do not honor our telephone conversation. Someone has to force this Company to e mail the offer immediately to the customer so that a customer can have something in WRITING to protect ourselves. By the way, I was told today(4/23) that Dish no longer has " Loyalty Department". I am copying this post to BBB in Denver. State of Colorado should realize that they have a sleazy corporation operating out of Littleton.
