LifeMates Complaint - Lifemates Rip-off Your Money Without Providing Services They Promised - Match Making Service
Match Making Service - Complaint
CALGARY -- I paid a match making company called Lifemates over $4,000 CDN six months ago and only received one referral from them at the very beginning which not not even worked out. I haven't got any referrals from them since for 6 months. I just called and requested a refund and was told since there was one referral launched, according to the lengthy contract they urged me to sign in a hurry after going through all procedures on evening after work, I was told there is not a single penny of refund, even they don't provide services down the road. Now I realize that the quick first referral and is the only referral I received so far for 6 months, is a way set up by them to cut you off from asking refund!
I think the way they do business like this is kind of cheating. Is there any way or any association that can look into and justify this matter? As I can tell from a lot of similar complaints for Lifemates, I am not alone!
I really regret not reading the feed backs before I signd up with Lifemates, this is really a pricy lesson!

Contact the Ontario Consumer Protection Bureau and file an official complaint. Lifemates thrive on mismatching services or no service at all. If you complain, they put your membership on hold and do nothing to resolve the matter. After six months of on hold, your membership is automatically cancelled. Their contract is not worth the paper it's written on. The same thing happened to me and I filed a complaint with CPB. Companies that scam the public can be fined hundreds of thousands. This is the best way for payback.
