Crappy conditions - Complaint
LAKEWOOD, WASHINGTON -- I was going to stay at the Lakewood Best Western Motor Inn in Washington, since it looked better from the street than most of the rest in that area. Once inside the lobby, however, I saw more than a little mold throughout the building and even saw a rat running across the room.
If they even have rats in their lobby, I can only imagine what the rooms look like. I didn't even bother to talk to the clerk behind the counter after seeing that.
I highly discourage anyone from making the mistake I almost made.

Wow is right. It's a good thing the OP knew enough to look around before deciding to stay. That's pretty disturbing.

good choice
i see too many letters where the person decides to stay in a hotel room, fully aware of crappy conditions, only to complain in the morning (discount grab?)
it's refreshing to see someone with enough sense to not even rent if they see the place isn't up to snuff
