Sears Complaint - SEARS lack of care
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- I will NEVER purchase another product from SEARS. I had a repair issue with my washer on a Friday and called the repair department. They said they could come out to fix it the next day (Saturday between 1 and 5) They conned me out of purchasing a service agreement for $249.00 at that time as well. I was able to get the machine to work on my own for that day so I called to cancel the repair appointment. The next day the machine acted up again and when I called for service again they told me they could not give me an appointment for two weeks. I guess that since they took my money I was at their mercy and would have to suck up the fact that they were in control and punishing me for canceling the prior appointment. I have since cancelled the service agreement with them, called Lowe's and purchased a new washer/dryer combo for just $250.00 more than the SEARS agreement which is clearly one sided. I do NOT recommend purchasing ANYTHING from SEARS. They are NO LONGER the company they once were NOR are they the caring company they profess to be on televeision commercials. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!
