Sears Complaint - Overall complaint about the products and Billing
NEW BERLIN, WISCONSIN -- We purchased 3 major appliances back in Feb. We had numerous complaints and they finally resolved most of the problems. After our rebates and Store credits we had an outstanding balance of about $2,900.00 +. I wasn't aware that we had to pay at least $10.00 each month by Gov. regulation. I talked to a Customer Service person and that was cleared up.
Then we got a bill indicating that we were late in out minimum payment and owed a LATE FEE of $39.00 and INTEREST of $3.16. I was also told that this would be taken care of.
We originally owed $2,900.00 + and I have sent in $1,500.00 in payments so far. our balance should be around $1,400.00 +. Your statement shows a much higher amount. Is it because the payments were made after your statements cycled or what.
We have had so much trouble with this whole thing that we are actually thinking about returning all 3 items as we have 90 days to do so.
Please check into this and let me know the status.
