Asurion Compliment - Extremely easy and user friendly

I've had phone insurance for the past two years and I was thinking of cancelling it when my next contract comes up. However, I recently lost my phone (Blackberry) and the cost to replace it without a new contract is $539.99. I'm not eligible for a new contract until August, so I was not looking forward to getting a new phone. I called the toll free number for Asurion provided to me when I alerted Verizon that my phone was lost. I called the number and the automated system told me I could process the claim over the phone, or for a quicker resolution, to visit their website. Being at work, the online option did seem easier. Well, it was! It was actually much easier than I thought. I answered just a few standard questions (was the phone lost, stolen, or broken, did I still have it, etc), paid the $50 deductible, and submitted the claim. I did not even have to pay shipping. I submitted the claim around 2 pm and I STILL received the phone at 10 am the following morning. I would certainly urge people to get phone insurance, especially for higher value phones. It was well worth it for me.
