Wachovia Corp Complaint - Terrible Customer Service
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA -- Beyond terrible customer service. Not sure if it has anything to do with them joining Wells Fargo, but every time I call or go into a bank they can't get anything right. My debit card number was stolen while I was in the middle of moving 1,300 miles away, it has been 3 weeks, and no sign of my new debit card. I have been having to play transfer from one account to the other, and have incurred overdraft fees like thank you cards because their system was down or their customer service reps are incapable of doing their job. They took it upon themselves to transfer money from one of my account to the other. I tried dealing with customer service on this prior to the check being cashed since I had already written a check and they were very unhelpful. Of course despite my depositing cash into my accounts I incurred yet more overdraft fees, and they could do nothing for me even though they caused it. I will be closing all of my account with both Wachovia and Wells Fargo, and will never do business with either of them again.
