Mercedes Benz Complaint - Fraudulent Car Sales Procedures
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CALIFORNIA -- On January 14th 2010 a salesmen (Raul) showed up at my home with my ex-boyfriend with paperwork for us to buy a C350. I was told via phone calls the car would be in both are names. Raul sat at my table and started handing me paperwork and I began to sign. I had undergone surgery a week before and he knew I was medicated per earlier conversations with he and my ex-boyfriend. As I signed the forms I began asking where is Mike's name on these forms? Why am I the only one on these forms. Raul did not answer me and continued handing me the forms. I finally stopped and asked both of them. Raul never answered me and looked over at my ex and said your going to put this in your companies name right. I asked where that paperwork is and I was told by both of them it was at the dealership.
I went to the dealership the following day and spoke to Raul and he shoved paperwork in front of me and said "It is your lucky day and I have a loan through Chase with a better rate for you"! I signed that and spoke to the loan person there and asked who else is on the car and replied only you... I went home and asked what was going on and my ex told me the paperwork was being processed.
I started calling Mercedes Benz Of Laguna Niguel in the beginning of March and NO ONE WOULD CALL ME BACK. My sister made it her mission to call for a entire week and she finally got a call back from them. Jared Bayless the sales manager basically said Raul was no longer working for them and since I owed Chase for the car that they could and would not help me!!
I WILL NEVER BUY A MERCEDES BENZ EVER AGAIN AND WARN ANYONE TRYING TO BUY A CAR FROM THE LAGUNA NIGUEL DEALERSHIP.
