Sears Complaint - Sears doesn't care about you, just your money
NEW JERSEY -- I bought my tractor 8/07 less than 3 years old, started smoking so I called Sears now know as "Dewey, Screwem and Howe" Was told by the repair tech that the ring were shot and I need a new block. I went for the repair at a down payment of $670.00. Had an appointment set for 10 days later to have the engine replaced. Two days before the appointment I get a call that the service representative is over book and they need to reschedule me. I had the appointment since 4/19 eight days, how can he be over booked and I get bumped? Now I have to wait another 7 days, they have my money, I have a tractor that spews smoke and a replacement engine sitting in a box. I spoke with all the "Customer Care Representatives" and demanded a supervisor. I spoke with Mr. Mike because they don't have last names at Sears. He couldn't care in the least about my problem. They have my money and that's all they care about. They will show up for the 1st visit tell you they need a deposit and never come back. I can only hope they show up for the next appointment and resolve the problem. I will never shop at Sears again. There are better stores that stand behind their product with much better service. Sears screwed me blue, the whole crew.
