Rick Case Dealership Complaint - The Dealership Has Thieves

Review by accused of lying on 2010-04-29
DULUTH, GEORGIA -- My husband brought my 2008 Elantra in for a recall. Before he left he went to the gas station and filled the tank. When the service guy took the car my husband watch him drive down to the employee parking and then to the service station. He had thought maybe he went to get something from his car. When they brought the car back my husband notice that the tank was just above empty. He asked them did they have to drain the fuel tank to do the work. They said no. He proceeded to tell them he brought the car in at almost a full tank and now it about empty. They treated my husband like he was lying about the gas. He had to produce the receipt showing he brought the gas just before bringing the car in.

All this happen when the gas hike was going on and gas was at 4.00 Per gallon. I would have never thought that a big dealership would do something like that to their customers. I expected more.

What response did you get from the dealership?

I would expect more too. It's one thing if it was left there overnighht where anyone could have come on the lot and syphoned, but it sounds like all evidence points to a dishonest employee. Did they think you wouldn't notice around 10 gallons missing?
Not good Mr. Case
