COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA -- I took my 2002 Kia into Lake Manawa Kia to be worked on April 21, 2010. I did not receive my vehicle until Thursday April 29, 2010. When I picked it up I checked over the vehicle to make sure all repairs had been done. When I opened the passenger side door to check the seat I saw the panel to the seat was busted and hanging off. I also noticed a generic brand cigerette smashed into my floor. This was enough to make me upset, but it was not the end of it! When I turned my vehicle on to check the AC, the gas gage did not go up. When I checked the mileage on the vehicle there was an extra 89 miles on it!! With the job I have I need to keep close tabs on my mileage and write it down, I am not dumb! I also filled my $70 gas tank the day before I took it in for repairs and it was almost on empty! To make matters worse there was a newspaper in the drivers side door. Now if you add all of this up, to me it seems someone had been driving my vehicle for pleasure and just thought no one would notice! I called the General Manager and the only answers I got were "I looked into it but I don't have any answers" and "What do you want me to do?" I cannot seem to get any answers from anyone and I am SO fed up with the run around! I want answers and someone owes me a tank of gas, oil change and a fixed seat!! I wonder if this happens often and how many times they have taken advantage of customers without their knowledge! I should not have to worry about my vehicle being abused while it is supposed to in good hands!
