Nike Complaint - Poor Quality Shoes - Ladies Cross Trainer Shoe
I was given a ladies cross trainer last June (it's April now). During my fitness class today I noticed the bottom tread piece was coming apart (I suppose it was the glue). The whole bottom is coming off, making the shoes a tripping hazard. When I called customer service, the representative (Holly) became very degrading and haughty, telling me the shoe was over two years old and I could take it to a cobbler (yeah, right). These shoes are practically new. Nothing is worn down on them. She said that Nike stands behind their product but in my case, sorry, the shoe was manufactured too long ago. I stated it was a same Nike used inferior products that would disintegrate so quickly and she became nasty.
I told her thanks and I would buy Avia or New Balance in the future. My family is now NIKE-free!
