Ryan's Compliment - Wonderful service even on Thanksgiving!

EASLEY, SOUTH CAROLINA -- There are those days when you get stuck with an over-stressed, over-worked waitstaff (I'll just assume ^_^), and there are the days when it is so busy, that you can forget about being attended to in a timely or even polite manner. This Thanksgiving, I was just hoping to get in with some family for some turkey-related food to avoid the chemistry experiment I'd like to call cooking. It was packed, of course, but the waitstaff couldn't have been nicer, but then again, I've never had a bad experience with Ryan's. The one time I was treated rather poorly at Ryan's (no refills, no removed plates), I spoke with the manager, who was at my side promptly, not trying to kiss my butt but actually listening to my concerns, then gave me a twenty dollar gift certificate even though I tried to refuse (I can understand when a waitress has a bad day, which had been the case). Even today when I expected harried, tired waitstaff, they were as friendly as ever (of course, it could be that overtime pay ^_^).
