SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA -- These guys are real jerks. You sure don't want to buy a car from them in any way. If they treat their customer like they treated me it'll cost you!
My wife and I pulled in on their lot to look for a pickup. A nice friendly salesman came to talk to us. No problems so far. The salesman kept trying to interest me something other than what I wanted! We don't understand why car salesman are hard of hearing? When we were about to leave he said I'll go and get you a card (bad omen), just wait!..Uh Oh...1st sign of trouble! A salesman that didn't carry his cards in his pocket, bet he'll be followed out by another salesman...yep, sure was, Now I've got two salesman, and the new one is slobering all over hisself with friendship and acts pushy! I stop him at the handshake, told him I was dealing with the other salesman and he was doing a good job and that I did not wish to talk to him! He got really up set fast. This is a common tactic for unreputable care sales agents, then when it didn't go his way he told me to get off his lot! Then he gave me the finger! ....now, ask yourself...would you buy a car from a company that permits this! Why do these moron sales people want to play so many stupid games....If it's the right car it will sell itself... We've heard so much bad information about this company over the last few years....but now I know for sure it's all true!...we just wanted to look and have a peaceful day...now I will never ever set foot on their lot again and will never buy anything from them ever and will advise all my friends not to go there...I feel sorry for the 1st, salesman, he'll never have a sales career that way!...rule no. 1...never tick off the customer....for any reason! It just kills all future sales! Hope automax enjoys the free advertisment!

And you are correct that showing a customer the right car is a good start.
