FurnitureStoreUSA.com Complaint - Bad Business Behaviour
I am totally shocked by the behavior of this merchant! There are no enough words to explain my frustration.
On April 30, 2010 I made purchase from the store's site for the total amount of $629.95 after advertised additional 10% discount and FREE UPS shipping. The purchase was for the 7pc Contemporary Cherry Dining Set. I paid through PayPal, received e-mail confirmation from the store and PayPal regarding my successful purchase and then I went and bought another curio cabinet from another site that matches the color and design of this dining set. So far it was excellent transaction. Well, guess what happened on May 2, 2010! the owner of FurnitureStore USA.com, Stephen Deo refunded my money through PayPal without any explanation why, nor even e-mail note. Just here is the refund. Certainly I was very unhappy since I ordered another curio cabinet that matches this set from another store. Then I went back to the FurnitureStoreUSA.com site to find what happened with the dining room set. To my shocking surprise the set is there but the PRICE was increased to $999.95! Now I understood why my order was cancelled!
My advise is to be careful with this site and if possible to avoid, even better.
