Motel 6 Informative - Business Travelers Can't Stay at Motel Six because of Wi-Fi Service
I have stayed in Motel 6's all over the country since 1997. I really don't care that the towels are small and the rooms aren't plush. Unlike many other people here with their petty complaints about whether or not their room was smoking or not smoking or the manager lied to them, I have had no real problems because I knew what to expect and I was paying all my own expenses.
Around 2005 or so the internet started to become a more important part of my business and I went Wi-Fi, pretty much because I had to for work. Motel 6 started to offer Wi-Fi so I was happy. But soon I realized that their Wi-Fi service was very unreliable, to the point that most of the time, no matter where I stayed it just didn't work.
It is a shame that I can no longer use Motel 6. No matter how great the price is, it won't work for me anymore. Their wireless routers are a joke and until I hear that they fixed their Internet service I guess I'll keep using price line to get hotels that have reliable Wi-Fi.
Motel 6, get it together for business traveler! Please!
