Interesting news article.
Apparently the company is under investigation by the FTC for offering bribes to bloggers for writing posts praising the company.
The article does not say where the "blogs" were being posted - if it was on people's personal sites or at customer review sites. It only states that the actual blog response was rather underwhelming.

I often wonder that about all the wonderful Macy's reviews we see! Very interesting Pepper.

I personally do not like Macy's. They're overpriced and they never have anything that I would want to buy. I only go there when some well-meaning (read clueless) relative gives me a gift card there. And then I'm hard-pressed to find something to use it on.
