Xerox Complaint - Flawed Design & Poor Quality
ALASKA -- I bought a new Xerox WorkCentre M950 copier in April - lots of problems. I have two options - no copier for my small business for 7-10 days or a replacement machine. Secured a replacement - they sent me a "refurbished" machine! Now, 2 months later replacement machine not working either but with a different set of problems! Only option is another replacement! Sending me another one in September.
The Xerox WorkCentre M950 has serious design flaws including but not limited to the sleep timer, overall responsiveness (have to unplug and replug-in machine to print from computer), paper feeder, skewed paper release which causes unuseable crooked copies, distorted print and faded lines through copies, occasional inability to print left and right sides of header area, status box error messages that don't apply and more.
To make it worse, their one year product warranty only covers NEW machines, so their policy to replace a new defective product with a used machine whittles down the actual warranty. They can keep sending me versions of this junk until it runs out and I have no recourse. Despicable business practice.
