Comcast Corporation Complaint - Abysmal Customer Service
When my set picture starting breaking up and channels were unavailable, I called Comcast to come out and check the signal. They made an appointment for a Tuesday evening. No one came; no one called and I was very explicit about what number they could reach me on. I called again and they said the tech had called. But I had my cell phone with me at all times and they definitely did not call. They rescheduled for Sunday between 11 and 2. Again, no one came; no one called. I called at 2 and was told the ticket was still open and the tech had been delayed and the dispatcher would call me back with the arrival time. Again, I gave them the number where they could call me. 3 o'clock, still no one came, no one called. I called back. Oh, they said the call had been canceled. I went through the whole story again and insisted that they send someone out that day. They said the tech would come b/w 4 and 8. 8 o'clock came and no tech, no call. I called back and was informed that they didn't know what had happened but they would forward my concerns to the supervisor. And my appointment had been rescheduled to the next day, without any consultation with me. Of course, I had to work the next day and was not about to take off and waste another day waiting for the phantom tech. This is totally unacceptable service. I can even understand if the tech gets backed up and is late. What I can't understand is that no one called even after I had been through with three different no-shows. All of the people on the phone seemed nice enough and maybe they were doing their best, but in the end, the service was pathetic. I'm still waiting for the 4th appointment to see if they actually show up.
