Wendys Complaint - Repulsive customer service
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA -- On 9/2/01 at approximately 7:40 pm, my family and I pulled up to a Wendy's on Brook rd. in Richmond, Va. We waited for a while to even order and we had a very hard time with the cashier(Lamar) taking the order. He kept reading the order back to us and it was wrong. The cashier after the third time, asked us to repeat the order,we obliged and he began to be sarcastic with us .At this point the frustration level was so high that we decided to forget about the whole thing. My husband turned to me and said something and then the Cashier cussed at us!!!!After that, he yelled at my husband and threatened to come out of the restaurant after him (my three small children were in the vehicle). He actually threatened bodily harm!!!!!! He also prepared to come after my husband by removing his belt and headset,he threw something out of the window towards our vehicle. At this point I decided to go inside to speak with the manager, who seemed very nice at the time. She supposedly gave me what I had asked for which was the District Manager's Name and Number. When I dialed the number, it was a disconnected number.(needless to say we did not purchase anything at this store and left very hungry). So now I feel that I was mistreated not only by the cashier but the manager as well. I believe that I was misinformed deliberately! This is one of the worst examples of customer service that I have ever seen. It represents the company in a poor fashion and I shall certainly think twice before visiting another Wendy's restaurant in the future.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
There is little that can satisfy me short of asking the offending employees to remove themselves from the establishment. I have considered taking legal action as the cashier did threaten bodily harm to my husband. Rest assured that if that had happened, Dave Thomas and I would be partners.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
