Sears Complaint - The worst service I have ever encountered.
18 month old water heater. Gas Valve went out. It has been a week of no hot water. Hasn't been a very pleasant experience!
So repair day finally arrives. Tech doesn't show up for appointment 8am - noon, or call. On my first call to customer service at 11:40, I was told repairman would call me. I called again at 12:30. Again told repairman would call, he was running behind. On my third call at 2:15, the snotty kid was RUDE. If I tried to speak he would just interrupt, and keep talking over me. I had to ask several times for him to just listen. I DO understand running late...a phone call to let me know would be expected, as I must pick up kids from school...not to mention I could have worked today! How unprofessional of Sears!!!
The representative stated that they did call me (and talk to me)...not true...and I am terribly offended that they lie! I don't want to do business with dishonest people!
I asked AGAIN that they make sure they put the valve on the truck, as they don't usually carry them. (When I made the appt. I told them what part I needed) I was told that they would have to order it. He also stated that the repairman would't make it until after 4:30! I asked if they thought I had nothing better to do than wait around...and again, he was downright rude!
So I imagine from what I have been reading all over the web, that I won't even see a repairman today. But you can bet I will save thousands of people from the same headache!
I am very dissatisfied with Sears service...Not only should a new appliance work properly, but their repair service is horrible. THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING FROM SEARS! ! !
