Home Depot Compliment - Super Staff At Home Depot But Carpet Prices Too High!!
GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA -- I will try to be brief. I have read several negative emails. I am sorry for the horrible things that have happened to some of you. Sounds like "GREED" to me on the corporate end.
Anyway, I mainly go to the HOME DEPOT located off of W. WENDOVER AVE. IN GREENSBORO, NC. I have had 2 carpet purchases with HOME DEPOT. I have only had 1 bad experience but the HOME DEPOT (SCOTT - flooring or carpet supervisor and Mr. Wayne Stack - flooring consultant took care of the problem). The problem is whoever came out to measure the carpet took measurements that left me with almost a room full of carpet, which was a rip-off but Wayne and Scott offer SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Plus Wayne and Scott have gone the extra mile to give me discounts to work within my budget plus to meet my needs. Mr. Wayne Stack initially suggested that I go with one type of carpet for the entire house but I did not listen. Now I am paying over $1,200 extra because I did not listen. WAYNE STACK and SCOTT are such great team leaders who offer value and courtesy that I will continue to go to the HOME DEPOT to meet my needs, with only one thing standing in the way - here it is:
HOME DEPOT, YOUR CARPET PRICES HAVE INCREASED FROM 30% - 60% ON MANY OF YOUR CARPETS IN JUST A LITTLE OVER A YEAR!! YOU NEED TO COME BACK DOWN OR THIS MAY DETER ME FROM BUYING CARPET FROM YOU IN THE FUTURE FOR OTHER PROJUECTS. YOUR FLOORING STAFF, Mr. Wayne Stack and Scott are doing a superb job but your prices are pushing me to go else where. Currently, Mr. Wayne Stack and I are talking about a 3rd carpet project. He is doing his best to work with me on the price because all I need to do is re-carpet 2 rooms and a small area of which you have already installed carpet and padding. I give both of these guys a THUMBS-UP ACROSS THE BOARD!
Finally, for anyone who lives in or near Greensboro, NC and have had a bad experience with the HOME DEPOT concerning buying and having carpet installed, give Scott - carpet supervisor and Mr. Wayne Stack and chance and I am very confident that they will put your best interest first, meet your need timely and affordably, and show you that they highly value you. If your store refuses to treat you right and give you the best, come to the HOME DEPOT located on W. WENDOVER AVE IN GREENSBORO. WAYNE AND SCOTT WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU. Otherwise, report the other stores to the Better Business B... or "BBB" if you feel they have taken advantage of you, ripped you off, or was unprofessional. In the future, talk with people and ask several questions. That is what I did. Wayne Stack was the first man I talked with and I was impressed from day one with his attitude, demeanor, offering high value, courtesy, good carpet consulting advice, and making sure my needs were met affordably and timely. It only costed me more because I went with several different colored carpets rather than listening to Wayne Stack. Wayne and Scott deserve a nice pay raise or increase. If you are not happy with your store, give these guys a shot. They will not let you down. In the meantime, Wayne Stack is currently working with me on a 3rd carpeting project (trying not to break the bank) but he is doing the best he can. Hopefully, I can get a HOME DEPOT DISCOUNT COUPON in the mail soon to offset these high costs but this is my fault, not theirs. Plus the installers have been superb as well!! BEFORE I GO, ALWAYS GO WHERE YOU ARE CELEBRATED, VALUED, AND TREATED WITH RESPECT!! Another way of putting it is, "go to placed, businesses, and people WHO UNDER-PROMISE BUT OVERPRODUCE!!!!!!!!!"
