Motel 6 IN FENTON MO Complaint - HEATED, FRUSTRATING AND DEMEANING STAY
FENTON, MO -- Three room changes to find a room with a working air conditioner, and was talked down to by the person appearing to be the owner/manager himself, he was not wearing a motel 6 shirt like the clerk who chedked us in and seemed to have family in the next room, or one close by the office. He accused me of being the type of person who could never be satisfied.
He lied to me directly at least four times. To include that the housekeeper told him the air in the first two rooms I was in was working just fine. I was there when the air was checked and the housekeeper agreed with me that the air conditioners needed recharged and stated that they were up for maintenance that week.
The "owner/manager" also tried to tell me there were no rooms left to rent after the second room was no good, until I wanted a refund to find a motel with working air conditioners. Suddenly he found "one room left", suspicious of a lie there too, wouldn't you be?
If you are wanting a rude a demeaning stay with more complications than just driving around in the crazy traffic then this is your place.
I feel Motel 6 should pull the franchise name from this crappy little motel. The sooner they do; the better, this place drags Motel 6 through the mud in the worst way.
I love Motel 6 and have been a loyal customer since the 80's. If this would have been my first stay at a Motel 6 I would have never stayed at another any place in the world.
