AT&T Complaint - Are you kidding me?
I'm so furious with AT&T I could spit. I was going to change from my current cable, phone and internet provided over to AT&T. I made all the arrangements and decided to call my current provider to tell them I as offered more for less. My current company made me an offer I couldn't refuse and I chose to be loyal and stay with my current provider.
I immediately contacted AT&T to make them aware of my decision and cancel my order. I figured everything was done. Two days later, I receive a notice on my door that they had been there to check my lines. Hello, don't need your service. I called yet again, and advised no need to be checking my lines because I am not getting service through your company.
They assured me everything was cancelled. Within two days I received a modem in the mail. I again called AT&T asking them why? Does cancelling service have to be this difficult? The advised me to send the item back via return evelope inside the box. I did so immediately.
However, over the course of the last few months, I've received a bill for $66.38 I ignored it because I never had any service from them. However, these bills started coming in weekly and I called yet again. I was assured by not one but two different representatives who assured me they were showing a credit on my account and the next bill would show ZERO. Great, so much for taking 1 but 2 individuals word.
I received a collection letter from a 3rd party agency stating they were going to seek judgment. Are you F'n kidding me. What does it take to get through to these people. I never had their service - nor will I EVER sign up for it ever again. This is a horrible way to treat someone. I have no flaws in my credit and I'm not about to start.
AT&T if any of your reps are reading this. Get your crap together!
