PNC Bank Complaint - PNC Bank Call Center against customers
PITTSBURGH -- The Call Center based out of the USX building in downtown Pittsburgh is a complete joke. They aren’t there to support the local branch, or to help customer's. They are all miserable people who just want to mock and demean you.
My Incident- I had an issue with my checking account. I called the customer service number about this issue. The 1st representative was very polite, and agreed to waive any overdraft fee's as long as I could make a deposit that day before 2pm. She saw all my accounts, and brought up the fact that she could take care of any fee's as long as the money was deposited before 2pm. I thanked her and deposited the money. The following day my wife brought up the fact that none of the fee’s were gone. She called, but was laughed at over the phone. I called later that evening. The first person was nice, and kept saying “I have tried to run the refund but it gets declined”. I asked to speak with his manager. A young sounding guy got on the line. From the beginning you could tell he was reading from a script. Kept saying non relevant things. He said the same thing, that he could not help. I explained that the previous representative had already agreed to assist, but for some reason hadn’t taken care of it. “I am sorry sir, we will use that as a training opportunity with her”. He then got very smart with me, and become nasty as some points. I would advise anyone who banks with PNC to beware of the call center. If you have an issue go to your local branch. There are individuals there who are human, unlike at the call center.
