CompUsa Tampa FL Complaint - Screwed Over Employee

Review by Screwed Over Employee on 2010-05-11
I just got fired by CompUsa In Tampa, I was the Repair Services Manager There. Needless to say that this New CompUsa Is worst then the past CompUsa. These Idiots could find there way out of a paper bag!!! I had a customer who purchased an all in one computer, he purchased an on site warranty from Bankers, it took them 10 weeks to replace the computer. First they gave him the royal run around to the point that he came into the store to get it resolved I personaly spent 45 minutes on the phone with them just to get them to listen to me. After all my efforts they decided to fire me due to the fact thst after hiring a new sales manager from the outside that had gotten fired from Best Buy, he decided to bring his friends in from the outside, so I was set up for a fall, they claimed because I had a active business website for a business that I had explined to them upon hire, that it was a conflict of interest. This plan had been in the works for several weeks I found out through my sources. Needless to say they are unethical, and If I were a consumer I would stay away from them like the plague

So, did you ever access your business Website while on CompUSA's time? Or did you provide a similar service as CompUSA?

If you had an active business website that provided any service CompUSA may offer, it is a conflict of interest. As well, if you promoted you business while at work, there is a conflict of interest. I apologize, but your complaint is deeper than you are disclosing, and sounds a lot like sour grapes.
