Best Buy Compliment - Good Job!!! - Consumer Electronics
HOLLAND, MICHIGAN -- I set my alarm extra early (as many shoppers did) for Black Friday Bargains. My first stop was The Best Buy Store in Holland, MI. Somewhat blurry-eyed and tired (skipped the morning coffee) I arrived to see at least 25-30 people already in line ahead of me. Since there were limited quantities of the items I had hoped to purchase, I was afraid they would be sold out by the time I grabbed a cart, etc... . Plus the fact that I then would have stood in line (Outside+4:30am+Michigan=Brrr) for 1.5 hrs and not get the bargains I came for.
Then to my surprise... Best Buy employees went to each person standing in line and handed out
flyers showing the quantity available of each sale item AND the purchase number you would be if
you wanted that item, plus a map showing where the items were located inside the store.
Then a few minutes before the store opened, coffee... good, fresh, hot and free (courtesy
of Best Buy and The Buzz) for all those waiting in line. Carts were strategically placed
throughout the store for shopping convenience and all the employees were very friendly.
Other retailers take notice for next year... this is how you keep customers! Way to go
