WHARTON, NEW JERSEY -- I parked my car in Costco lot in Wharton NJ and when I came out, my battery was dead. I lifted my hood and called AAA. They would take over an hour to get there. This happened in Maine and at least 15 people asked if they could help but in New Jersey, not a one!. I decided to replace the battery and since I was in Costco, rather than wait for AAA I purchased a new battery from their tire store costing over $ 60. I asked the employee who I paid for the battery if I could borrow a tool to install the battery and he grunted "we don't loan tools." I again explained the situation and said I would leave my driver's license with him and it would take 10 minutes...he again grunted "we don't give out tools." I was so angry I left the store, I should have demanded to see a manager but instead went into the store and bought a cheap wrench...I was furious...the lack of civility is unbelievable!!!
