Barclays Frontier MasterCard Complaint - Why I closed my Barclays Frontier MasterCard Account Today

I have requested that my account be closed immediately. The Customer Service Rep who I talked with today did not appear to be interested in why I closed this account. Still, on the very slight chance and anyone at your organization cares about customers I have provided the reasons for requesting the account closure:
1. Your Interest Rates of 25.24% is not acceptable. I am keeping other credit cards with interest rates in the 13% range.
2. Due to the interest rates on this Master Card I cut my charges on this account from $3,000+ per month on this account to the under $100 per month to avoid the potential of excessive interest charges.
3. During the time period of March 6th to May 12th I charged only $43.23
For some reason the Mastercard statements suddenly stopped arriving by mail. As a result, I did not remember to pay the bills on time. Therefore I incurred two late charges of $39.95 each and interest interest charges $4.30 plus an annual fee of $49.00.
In my opinion, the fees associated with having this card ($133.20) on purchase of $43.23 should be considered criminal.
