Wal-Mart Informative - Walmart-Research B4 you buy
OCALA, FLORIDA -- When you visit a Sears, Penneys, or other major chain or mass merchandiser, you can pretty well expect pricing on items to be consistent. This is NOT so with Walmart, as they price based on local market conditions. The same product can vary by often more than 30% from one store to the other in the very same community. Depends on their competition. Even their Murphy Oil owned gas stations will fluctuate by. 10/gal or more on given days based on their sales/volume. And, you can literally forget the 'site-2-store experience. They do NOT man the dept. except by a console to theoretically summons help. As others have pointed out that entity is NOT owned by Walmart at all, but is an affiliate agency handling ONLINE sales. The numerous complaints using it as a buying tool have rendered it worthless IMO. For openers, credit cards, are charged IMMEDIATELY whether you pickup the mdse. or not. Should a problem arise, which often is the case, you end up in a hassle getting a credit for something which should never have been charged UNTIL the merchandise is physically delivered to your possession. So, its in your best interest to do your homework FIRST and think carefully before you theoretically by Pennywise, and, pound foolish. Hope this helps others profit from my several bad experiences with the nation's leading mass merchandiser. BTW, each pharmacy is only competitive to the point of 'meeting local competetion's price when forced to do so. Example. 90 days Norvasc 10mg generic $127. WinnDixie price=$10 Sweetbay price=$10. You get the picture. Shoparound first.
