My husband and I just finished remodeling our kitchen, including a new granite countertop and Blanco silgranite sink. We had read reviews of the sinks and all seemed positive. One week after installation, I am sitting here, looking at a scratch in the sink (the sink is black so the scratch really stands out). We have been very careful about putting things in the sink, and for it to scratch after just one week leads me to believe that it's not as scratch resistant as the manufacturer would have you believe. I am going to be a nervous wreck from now on, worrying about whether I am going to scratch the sink. Should have gone with porcelain or back to stainless steel.
